About the Event

This 4 hour workshop is built off MIEACT’s DoNOHarm framework (c) and builds on the skills of individuals with a lived experience and their support network to use inclusive language and minimise referred trauma. In this session you will explore personal and professional boundaries to share and hear stories safely. This session is delivered by a qualified facilitator in partnership with a lived experience Educator.

Trainer Bios:      

Terri – Has a wide range of experience in the mental health and community sector. Terri has presented DoNoHarm sessions for MIEACT since 2013. She is also a current MIEACT board member.

Deahnne- Has delivered sessions for MIEACT since 2014 and has recently become a MIEACT staff member. Deahnne was Young Australian of the Year in 1985.
