POLICY ENVIRONMENT
The ACT Government provides mental health services directly and through partnerships with community organisations in the ACT.
POLICY & ADVOCACY
Development of policy particularly in the form of submissions to government is central to the work of MHCC ACT.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
MHCC ACT provides training and workforce development workshops at heavily subsidised rates.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
We are committed to two-way open communication that involves listening to our stakeholders, keeping them informed and being clear about how their contributions are being used.
MENTAL HEALTH MONTH ACT
MHCC ACT plays an important role in coordinating Mental Health Month each October in the ACT.
RECOVERY COLLEGE
In collaboration with a number of other community based mental health organisations, MHCC ACT put a submission to the ACT Government for funding to establish a Recovery College in late 2015.
NDIS
MHCC ACT is committed to supporting our members to offer sustainable, safe quality support services to people with mental health issues and psychosocial disability within the NDIS.
